WANT TO IMPROVE YOUR LEADERSHIP AND PUBLIC SPEAKING SKILLS?
The San Mateo County Chapter of the Organization of Chinese Americans offers the premier “Speak and Lead with Pride” program, a hands-on course designed to teach leadership and the art of public speaking to students who have not had any previous training, but want to enter a career that might require such skills. This course looks great on college and scholarship applications! After completion of the 6-week course, participants will carry much greater confidence as a public speaker. The course concludes with a competition for a $500 cash prize.

Due to the nature of the course, space is limited. Applicants are high school students who identify themselves as Asian Pacific American. Applicants must submit a recommendation from her/his school counselor or teacher.
