Welcome to OCA – San Mateo Chapter.

Founded in 1973, formerly the Organization of Chinese Americans, Inc. (OCA), now known as OCA Asian Pacific American Advocates (OCA-APA Advocates) is a national non-partisan, member-driven non-profit 501(c)(3), with 35 chapters and affiliates across the U.S.

Mission Statement: OCA-APA Advocates unites and empowers the AANHPI community to collectively use our voice to advance the sociopolitical and holistic wellbeing of all AANHPI. We do this work through educating, organizing, and intergenerational bridge-building.

The OCA San Mateo Chapter was established in 1987.  To create a sense of community and to embrace the aspirations of Asian Pacific Americans, the Chapter sponsors several signature programs in the county. We collaborate with other community based organizations to create impactful events. Cultural and educational programs are open to the general public.
